Amy L. Harris is a professional watercolor painter, she has been selling her work since 1999. She has participated in many national exhibitions with clients throughout the country. Amy currently operates her art studio from her home in New York City where she is a Recreational Therapist for NYU Langone Health serving as the coordinator of an arts engagement program for people living with dementia since 2017. She makes her art with watercolor, gouache, watercolor pastel, acrylic ink, and pencil on paper. Textures are developed using a variety of watercolor mediums, acrylic paste, charcoal and and ink. The shapes, lines and spaces are inspired from natural objects and life forms.
